Head of IT operations

Your responsibilities:

shaping and developing the company’s cloud architecture, with a strong focus on security and scalability;
making technical decisions in the areas of cloud, networking, and security;
hands-on involvement in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), in close collaboration with Development and DevOps teams;
designing, developing, and maintaining complex environments in Microsoft Azure and AWS, with an emphasis on high availability, security, and automation;
overseeing production environments, including networking, access management, backups, user accounts, and office infrastructure;
planning, implementing, and optimizing IT processes, including automation, security, and day-to-day operational activities to ensure business continuity;
defining architecture, standards, and security policies for Microsoft 365 services;
monitoring IT costs and resource efficiency, and providing optimization and purchasing recommendations;
taking ownership of networking and communication areas (DNS, SMTP, VPNs, firewalls), including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting;
automating and improving administrative processes using PowerShell, Bash, and Python;
managing the IT team’s work and coordinating cooperation with an external DevOps team.

experience in independently leading and developing infrastructure / cloud areas;
expert, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including networking, security, automation, and service management;
experience working with Microsoft 365 services, particularly in security and administration;
excellent understanding of networking and IT security concepts (DNS, SMTP, firewalls, VPNs, routing);
experience in IT process automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python;
a proactive, self-driven attitude and the ability to make high-impact technical decisions;
ability to think strategically, while remaining involved in day-to-day operational work.
